What's new in Bryce 6.0:
Real-World lighting via HDRI
Add the vibrancy and realism of lighting sources captured from the real world in High Dynamic Range Images to your renders via the new IBL menu inside the Sky Lab.
Render your scene with the HDRI image to achieve convincing renders, and even use the HDRI image as a background if you choose. With the ability to control the quality, intensity and overall HDRI effect of the lighting within your scene, you'll be amazed at the beauty you can release into your scenes.
Animation Import
Add life to your environments by animating your favorite DAZ figures, animals and accessories inside DAZ Studio
and then importing the animations into your Bryce scene. You then decide at what frame the imported animations should begin and can update the animations after you perfect them further within DAZ Studio.
Mesh Export of Booleans
Enjoy the ability to export out full geometric meshes of any of your favorite Boolean objects.
Plus, you can re-import these meshes and combine them with other Booleans or imported meshes for advanced objects and cleaner scene building.
An easy to use, stand-alone application, this can be installed on as many machines as you like without the need to purchase additional licenses. With greater stability and a more compact client interface providing detailed feedback, rendering Bryce scenes on multiple systems is easier than ever before.
Dual Processor and Hyper-Treading support
Rendering your final images is now optimized to support dual-processor systems as well as hyper-threading. By taking advantage of your superior system hardware setup, you'll receive any faster render results.
16-Bit Image Support in Terrain Editor
Create, edit, and refine terrains and lattices using 16-bit data within the Terrain Editor. Enjoy the fine level of detail and control that this increased grayscale data affords you.
Advanced Terrain Editor
New Image Based Brushes allow you to create custom looks to your terrains.
Create your own custom brushes, and share them with others as you build a library of your favorites. There's no limit to what you can use as a brush when editing terrains within the Terrain Editor.
Random Replacate Tool
Quickly duplicate existing items in your scene with a random distribution of their placement within a perimeter that you control.
Create more convincing tree lines and forests at the touch of a button. Simulate crowds, rubble, particles and more with the greatest of ease. With the ability to randomly replicate both individual and grouped items, you can populate your scene with all the extra detail without the tedium.
Custom Image Texture on the Moon
Include your own custom image-based maps to the surface of the moon within Bryce to simulate
celestial satellites or alien planets. Plus, achieve more complex planetary skyscapes by layering your renders.
Compressed Scene Files
Now it's easier than ever to store your favorite scene files thanks to file compression included in Bryce 6.
With basic ZIP file compression now standard as part of saving out Bryce 6 scene files, you can have even more great scenes stored on your drive.
Improved Preset Managers
Now you can add and delete as many different categories of presets as you need. View more thumbnails at once with the wider aspect preset managers and find the right preset in less time.
